Work Where the Day Never Repeats
Where lunch is warm, hugs are real, and your work actually matters.
Join the Family
Some jobs pay bills. Others build legacies.
At Teddy Kids, we’ve been building something for 22 years. 10,000 children. Hundreds of team members—some since day one. If you believe childhood matters, and you’re tired of systems that don’t, we should talk.
Welcome to Teddy Kids Careers
If you're looking for a polished daycare job — this probably isn't it.
Because Teddy Kids isn't "just" a daycare.
We're a wild, warm, multilingual, full-contact learning environment. Where children grow with love, and adults grow with purpose.
We don't play pretend. We build routines. Teams. Magic.
If you're someone who sees what needs to be done — and does it… If you're loud when needed, quiet when it counts, and kind always…
You might already be one of us.
What Makes This Different
The Blanket Winter (and what it taught us)
2006
In 2006, the heating broke. We all wore blankets. Parents brought soup. Children thought it was an adventure. That day, we learned: It’s not the building. It’s the people.
Kim, Meral, Svetlana, Zina—they were there. Still here. Some team members have 18+ years of history. When you join, you’re not starting a job. You’re joining a story.
The 2021 Rebuild
2021
When COVID hit, we didn’t retreat. We rebuilt—while staying open for essential workers’ children. Our team showed up. Masked. Exhausted. Present. That’s who we hire.
The Maelyn Effect
Since 2016
Since 2016, every decision runs through this filter: Would this be good enough for Maelyn? Food. Training. Spaces. Career growth. If it’s not good enough for our founder’s daughter, it’s not good enough for our team.
The Admin Problem (Solved)
You didn’t become an educator to do paperwork.
Enter Vera—our newest colleague. She handles scheduling, parent questions at 2 AM, documentation, and the thousand tiny tasks that eat your time.
What does this mean for you?
- •Less time on admin, more time with children
- •No more 2 AM parent WhatsApp stress
- •Clear documentation without the busywork
- •Support that actually supports
Vera handles the admin so you don’t have to. Your job is to be present with the children. Hers is to make that possible.
Note: Vera supports staff with admin and scheduling — never the children — so educators keep their full attention on the kids.
Build a Career, Not Just a Resume
Pedagogical Coach Track
Every location has one. You’ll observe, support, and elevate practice across the team. It’s how we ensure quality—and how you develop leadership without leaving the work you love.
Location Leadership
Run a Teddy Home. Shape culture. Build your team. Christina, Hanrike, Adela, Svetlana—they started as educators. Now they lead.
TISA Pathway
Our IB school (opened 2022) needs educators who think systemically. Curriculum design. Pedagogical innovation. The next generation of education leadership.
The Vera Era
We’re on the technological edge—using AI to remove bureaucracy while maximizing human connection. Be part of defining what early childhood education looks like in 2026 and beyond.
What We Look For
We don't scan for perfect resumes. We scan for rhythm.
The people who thrive here:
See the mess — and clean it without being asked
Communicate clearly — with kids, parents, and each other
Keep calm in noise, and find joy in mess
Laugh — even when there's yogurt on their shoe
Own their mistakes — and bounce back stronger
The Non-Negotiables
Before you apply, you'll need:
Valid work permit (Netherlands)
Clean VOG clearance
Childcare-related diploma (or active path toward it)
Fluent English or Dutch — bonus for both

You'll get:
- •Your personality color + Teddy style (e.g. "Calm Builder with Creative Edge")

Frequently Asked Questions
Teddy Kids Isn't for Everyone
Some people need micromanagement. Some prefer predictable, scripted days. Some just want to do "enough."
That's not us.
But if you're someone who's:
- Self-aware — but flexible
- Clean — but creative
- Quick — but calm
- Playful, smart, and never careless
We're waiting.
Your kids will thank you. So will ours.
